Paper's Fibrous

Fibre Friday with Ben took a papery, pencilly, inky turn this week. Instead of knitting mosters, we doodled knots and weavings, played with kneaded erasers, dip pens, and möbius strips, and talked about near-golden ratios.

Roughly:
1C PB
.25C butter
1 egg
1 tsp BP
1C sugar (1/2 brown, 1/2 regular)
1.5-2C rolled oats
Form discs. Bake 400F 10-15 min.
Crumbly but firm up nicely when they cool.

Big in time involved ... big difference in approach ... big leap from scratches in margins that are finished 'cuz I turned the page or left the meeting or whatever.
